Frequently asked questions

You can call the hospital number above, visit the reception with your doctor’s requisition, or follow the instructions given by your consulting physician. Our staff will confirm the modality, date, and any preparation (such as fasting) before your appointment.
It depends on the area being examined. Many abdominal ultrasounds and some CT studies require several hours of fasting; others do not. Please follow the written advice on your request form or ask our radiology desk when you confirm the booking so we can guide you correctly.
Routine cases are typically reported after specialist review within a standard turnaround window; urgent or emergency studies may be prioritised. The exact time can vary by examination type and workload—reception or your referring doctor can give you an estimate at the time of service.
Safety depends on the device (pacemaker, stent, orthopaedic metal, etc.) and the type of examination. Always inform staff before any CT or X-ray. CT and conventional radiography use ionising radiation—pregnancy and dose should be discussed with your referring doctor and our team. Ultrasound does not use X-rays. We follow screening protocols to keep you safe.
